Dyslexia Awareness Month: Educational Webinars

In honor of Dyslexia Awareness Month, we want to share that the Nebraska Dyslexia Association is hosting two educational webinars that will be beneficial for educators, administrators, and families. Thinking these would be good to include in your newsletter!

Interactive Dyslexia Simulation – Live Online — live simulations, guided reflection, and a 30-minute Q&A with experts designed to help participants experience reading through the lens of dyslexia.

Nancy Hennessy and the Science of Comprehension — 90-minute virtual workshop with Nancy Hennessy focusing on comprehension research and strategies for supporting struggling readers.

November 5 from 6:30 to 8pm central. $25

These sessions aim to deepen understanding of dyslexia and evidence-based reading comprehension practices. We hope they will enhance capacity across Nebraska’s school systems.
