Exciting Announcement!!! David Staenberg Dyslexia Scholarship Opportunity for Lancaster County High School Seniors

David Staenberg Family Foundation is thrilled to work with The Lincoln Community Foundation (LCF) to make available the David Staenberg Dyslexia Scholarship, a meaningful opportunity designed to support students

with dyslexia as they take their next steps toward higher education. This $1,200 scholarship will be awarded to one graduating senior from a public or private high school in Lancaster County who has a confirmed condition of dyslexia.

The David Staenberg Dyslexia Scholarship reflects LCF’s ongoing commitment to equity, access, and celebrating the strengths of students with learning differences. Students may apply in one of two ways:

  1. Complete the online application at https://lcf.academicworks.com/, or

  2. Request a fillable PDF application that can be completed electronically or by hand and submitted via email or mail to [email protected].

In addition to the general scholarship application, applicants for the David Staenberg Dyslexia Scholarship will answer two additional questions: one describing how dyslexia has impacted their educational journey, and another providing a reference email from someone who can confirm the dyslexia diagnosis. References must be submitted by the same deadline as the application, so students are strongly encouraged to apply early.

The application deadline is March 15, 2026.

For questions about this scholarship or the application process, please contact Trish R. at [email protected] or (402) 474-2345.
