My name is Curtis Fletcher DC. I am a chiropractor and co-owner of Fletcher Chiropractic with my wife, Kadi Fletcher DC.

I was asked to write information about myself and why I am part of the David Staenberg Family Foundation. I am on the board and wanted to write why I chose to participate for the non-for-profit. My main reason is because they work with and provide help for a lot of veterans. I know the foundation helps with dyslexia and homelessness too but whether it is water, food or clothing donations or eventually financial literacy, the foundation and David work hard for veterans.

I feel so strongly about helping veterans and military families because of friends and family that have served in the military. I have heard military stories my entire life from my father who was in the Navy and now as a healthcare provider, I now treat multiple veterans. They go through a lot, and I hear about it and see how it affects their daily lives. Whether it be a story about flashbacks of being a sniper in Afghanistan or dealing with cobras in the sand when in Vietnam; burying equipment that is going to be left behind or dealing with agent orange issues or traps that used food cans, grenades, and a trip wire. Active military and veterans go through so much physical and mental stresses to their body. As a chiropractor, I feel like it is my way of giving back by helping to make a person, especially a veteran, live up to their potential and pain free.

A little bit about myself and my business, Fletcher Chiropractic. We started in March 2013. We do a thorough initial examination with neurological and orthopedic tests, vitals, posture, ROM, and more to help figure out what is going in with the individual person. We offer different treatment options including chiropractic adjustments, acupuncture, nutritional testing, passive therapies like electric stimulation and ultrasound, and active therapies like therapeutic exercises, decompression/traction, and soft tissue therapies like instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization. DOT physicals and Titleist Performance Institute Assessment is available with Dr. Curtis.
