David Staenberg Family Foundation August Update
The David Staenberg Family Foundation, led by Executive Director David Staenberg, is built around three important pillars: supporting veterans, helping dyslexic youth, and strengthening our community.
But community support doesn’t always come in the form of a big program. Sometimes, it’s simply recognizing a need and finding a way to help.
The Foundation assists Atlas by helping provide a meal one Monday each month for six months. We are also beginning to support the F Street Rec Center in providing showers for individuals experiencing homelessness or simply going through a difficult time. Recently, a caregiver nurse reached out about someone who desperately needed help repairing a vehicle. The Foundation stepped in.
These stories are an important reminder that need doesn’t have one face. It may be someone experiencing homelessness, a veteran who needs a car repair, a family struggling to put food on the table, or a young person who needs an opportunity.
Through an incredible network of community contacts and volunteers, the David Steinberg Family Foundation works to connect people with resources and solutions. Our support reaches individuals as well as organizations, including food pantries, financial literacy programs, educational opportunities, and other community initiatives.
A gift of $25, $100, or any amount can help us say “yes” when the next need comes our way. Visit davidstaenbergfamilyfoundation.org to learn more, make a difference, and sign up for our newsletter.
Have an awesome day, and remember to smile.
